E-Bike Safety Certification Registration is Now Open!
MBUSD students in grades 4–12 who ride an e-bike to school are invited to register for the District's 2026–2027 E-Bike Safety Certification classes. These sessions are designed to promote safe riding habits and provide students with the certification required to receive an MBUSD e-bike sticker. Classes will be held at Manhattan Beach Middle School on Saturday, August 22 and Saturday, August 29. Three class sessions are available each day. Space is limited to 25 students per session, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students should bring:
A street-legal e-bike with pedals
Student ID
Helmet
Comfortable clothing and sneakers
Please register using the QR code on the attached flyer to reserve your preferred session. We encourage families to sign up early, as sessions are expected to fill quickly.

Summer is the perfect time to get outside and ride—but safety always comes first. As students enjoy time with friends and family, we encourage everyone to wear a properly fitted helmet, follow traffic laws, stay alert, and ride responsibly. Whether you're on an e-bike, bicycle, scooter, or skateboard, making safe choices helps keep our entire community safe. Have a fun and safe summer, Panthers!
