Manhattan Beach Middle School students recently demonstrated their academic knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through participation in Scholar Quiz, an engaging academic competition that challenges students across a variety of subject areas including history, science, literature, current events, mathematics, and more.

Scholar Quiz provides students with opportunities to strengthen critical thinking skills while working collaboratively with peers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Throughout the season, students dedicated time to studying, preparing, and supporting one another while building confidence and expanding their knowledge beyond the classroom.

More than just an academic competition, Scholar Quiz encourages curiosity, communication, and teamwork—skills that help students succeed both in school and beyond. Students learned how to think quickly, work under pressure, and contribute their unique strengths to support their team.

Programs like Scholar Quiz highlight the many ways MBMS students challenge themselves, pursue their interests, and engage in meaningful learning experiences outside of the traditional classroom setting.
