We are excited to announce that Manhattan Beach Middle School has earned its 2025–26 No Place for Hate designation, recognizing the school’s continued commitment to fostering a culture of kindness, inclusion, and belonging for all students.
No Place for Hate is a school climate initiative that helps schools engage students and staff in meaningful conversations and activities centered around inclusion, allyship, bullying prevention, and creating welcoming communities. Schools earn this designation through schoolwide commitments, student-centered activities, and ongoing efforts to create environments where every student feels safe, respected, and valued.
Throughout the year, MBMS students and staff embraced opportunities to strengthen community, celebrate differences, and reinforce the importance of empathy and respect. This recognition reflects the dedication of our students, educators, and families who work every day to ensure MBMS is a place where all learners can thrive.
We are incredibly proud of our Waves community for earning this recognition and look forward to continuing this important work in the year ahead — building on these values and reinforcing the message that kindness, inclusion, and belonging matter every day.
