“Get PUMPEd” (Parent University at MBMS Participatory Education)
This year will be filled with new excitement and change for your child, but we want you as parents to build connections with us and each other as well.  This year we are introducing “Get PUMPEd” (Parent University at MBMS Participatory Education) through partnerships with MBEF and the Beach Cities Health District.  We have developed a series of expert speakers on timely issues including Denise Pope, author of Overloaded and Underprepared; Michelle Borba, author or Unselfie; Common Sense Media; Leslie Gilbert-Lurie, author of Bending Toward the Sun, and her mother, a Holocaust survivor to name just a few.

We are offering as many night sessions as possible so more parents can be included.  Please calendar these dates and join us.  It will be a chance to get valuable information and connect with others who are parenting in the pre-teen/teen time of life.  Parents attending 7 or more sessions received an MBMS Parent University certificate.  Those attending 10 or more sessions also receive an “I’m PUMPEd” car magnet.  Click here to see all sessions that will be offered.
