We welcome current MBMS 6th and 7th grade students to sign-up for this testing opportunity which determines eligibility for GATE programming. If your child is already GATE eligible, there is no need for your child to sit for this test. Each school site provides this opportunity for their own students. All 4th and 5th grade students will have this opportunity at their elementary school site. Please feel free to contact that school directly for more information.
Students are eligible to take this assessment twice in 3 years. If your child has already taken it twice, you will be contacted directly.
Seating is limited to 60 for each test administration. If after signing up your plans should change, please consider removing your name from the sign-up to maintain an accurate list of open spots.
On the day of the assessment, please have your child arrive by 7:35 AM to find a seat and get settled. The test administration will begin promptly at 7:45 AM. As this test is timed, tardiness will result in non-participation and a secondary sign-up will likely not be available and the opportunity will be lost. Your cooperation in this is greatly appreciated.
